Mostly, this is a travel blog about getting places and staying there without having to sell a kidney. We think that travel should be for everyone, and want to dispel the myth that travel is for the fabulously moneyed who have nothing better to do with their lives than take a jet to Prague every now and then for a cocktail. It’s also about:
- Learning more about our country and supporting the livelihood of people working in the tourism industry
- Learning more about the world around us and using that knowledge to gain a better understanding of the world and our place in it
- Showing the world that the Philippines has more than just Angeles city bar girls
- Showing the world that the Philippines has more than just Angeles city bar girls AND Boracay
- Food, because food is one of the best ways to learn about a culture, and we’re just plain pigs
So wanderous is that, and a little bit more, as along the way we’ll do reviews on restaurants, beaches, hotels and hostels, and wherever we happen to end up on any given day. Welcome, wherever you may come from, to our shady little corner of the world. We hope you like what you see.
Enough people have asked us to book flights and arrange for accommodations for them that it’s starting to get bothersome. It’s a little irresponsible to expect us to book you a flight and hook you up with a hotel and basically arrange an entire vacation for you free of charge. I’d like to reiterate that we are not a travel agency and do not offer such services. We’re two travelers who would like to encourage other people to travel by pointing them to seat sales and basically trying to make travel cheaper and accessible for everyone. We do this for free, and for the reasons stated above. Thanks, and we do hope you keep reading wanderous.

hey ryan… was searching for bora-deals on Jan09. Then I came across your blog. Pretty neat my friend. Thanks for all the info. By the way feedback on places you’ve visited, hotels you stayed and any other info about the place would also be a great thing to post.
